How about making a pumpkin punch bowl and matching pumpkin cups to serve your hot or cold beverages. It is easy and a fun way to surprise your guests.
Simply take you large pumpkin and enough small pumpkins to make one cup for each guest. Cut the top of each pumpkin and scoop out the seeds and stringy meat, being sure to scrape out thoroughly. Then, rinse with ice water. Then all you have to do is put the beverage into your pumpkin punch bowl and ladle into your matching pumpkin cups.
You can make your centerpieces out of leaves, gourds and pine cones. If you want to be more elegant, consider low glass bowls or hollowed out gourds filled with water and float colorful fall flowers, such as mums or fresh cranberries and votive candles.
