    The Scents of Fall

Fall is here and the wonderful scents that go with this time of year abound. This is the time of year when I find comfort in familiar scents of childhood. The smell of apple or pumpkin pie baking, the warmth and fragrance of a cup of tea while I am curled up underneath the covers on a cold morning all these scents trigger fond memories.

If you have not had the opportunity or experience to try some of the different teas available I thought I would share with you some of my favorite one for this time of year.

    Creamy Pumpkin Spice Tea
This is truly a comfort tea. It is like pumpkin pie with a dollop of whipped cream on it and a touch of cinnamon. I had it this morning and it was heavenly.

    Spiced Green Tea
Normally these spices (cinnamon, cardamom & ginger) are not ones I would think go in a green tea, but it is quite good. Light, pleasantly fragrant and warms the heart.

    Autumn Splendor
This makes it in my top 5 favorite signature blends! It is a nice cozy tea. Great for winter. It does remind me of Halloween as there is a slight apple flavor to it, but I mostly tasted the spices and cinnamon.

    This brings me to:

    Chai Tea

Nothing is more enjoyable to me than a creamy fragrant sweet cup of chai tea. It is cozy goodness in a cup. This spicy beverage has been around for centuries and is just making a big hit in the last few years in the Western World. I have found a few recipes that I will share with you here for a great cup of chai.
