Laura's Tea Room
Laura's Tea Room is in Ridgeway, SC. (Information can be found online by typing in "Laura's Tea Room") It is in an old 2 story Main Street store. Downstairs there is a charming gift shop, but upstairs awaits the Victorian High Tea. You begin by selecting you hat, then a tea cup from an array of tea cups on the side board, and then you are shown your table. Next comes a brief history of the building and the tea room followed by featured flavored cold and hot teas of the day. The table is treated to the "warming of the tea cups" before the hot tea is poured. You are then served the most delicious scones, quiche/soup, sandwiches, and desserts.
This is worth the trip. I go every chance I get.
