Whimsical tea party

A member at one of my tea groups posted a link to a fun video about a tea party. If you are a Carol Burnett fan you will enjoy watching this. Let me say first don't do this at home.

The Mayo Clinic takes a look at tea

The Mayo Clinic in a recent issue of it's health news took a look at tea and health. Not just green tea, which is often mentioned in regard to health benefits, but also oolong, black and white teas.

What is the Mayo Clinic take on drinking tea and:

  • Cholesterol levels
  • Blood pressure
  • Atherosclerosis
  • Heart attack risk
  • Cancer
  • Bond and Joint health
  • Memory

Or do they think taking tea supplements are the best way to go? Find out in the April issue.

The accidental loose leaf tea blend

Last month I told you about an accidental new tea blend and promised to update you on how to get it. If you missed it, you can read the article here.

Victoria of is in the process of building her web site. It is not finished yet. You can inquire about her teas through her contact me page

In a recent email Victoria had this to say about pricing

Since my web pages are created on a free service, I avoid the use of paypal and credit card options to keep costs down. Thus, keeping the tea and products affordable to the customers.

I prefer to accept cash, checks and money orders as forms of payment. As always samples are free.

If you contact Victoria let her know you heard about her at Your Cup of Tea Notes.

My quest for Thai Iced Tea takes me to Pru Thai

I've written before about how much I enjoy drinking Thai iced tea. This tea is very sweet just as iced tea served in southern America is. It has a spiced flavor and is served with cream. It makes a colorful presentation and offers a different and unique taste. Paul and I traveled to Clinton New Jersey where we had dinner in a Thai restaurant. Pru Thai was recommended by a friend who's parents owned the restaurant. He assured us we would be happy to taste the Iced Tea. Read our review of Pru Thai and find the bonus we want to share with you.
