Lemonade Iced Tea
Do You Want a Different Drink

Would you like a burst of flavor? You need lemonade iced tea.

Let's make some Lemonade iced tea. Below you will find a good recipe to try. Lemonade Iced Tea

First we brew iced tea

4 C Filtered water brought to a boil
3 Tablespoons loose leaf black tea
4 C iced cold water

Place the loose leaf tea into a couple of tea filters or a tea ball large enough to hold the loose leaves. Tie a tight knot in the top of the filters to keep the leaves inside the bag while steeping.

Place the tea in a large enough pot (I use stainless steel) to hold the heated water.
Pour the water over the black loose leaf tea
Brew the tea for 4 minutes.
Remove the tea filters

You now have a concentrated iced tea.

The tea concentrate will make a brisk iced tea drink when equal parts of water are added.

Now lets start the lemon part of iced tea lemonade

1 C fresh squeezed lemon juice 4 to 5 lemons
1/2 to 1 cup sugar, or to taste
3 cups iced cold water
1 Cup of tea concentrate

Wash the lemon, then place in a microwave for about 10 seconds. Heating slightly will allow you to squeeze out all the juice. Roll them on your counter using pressure, this will also help release all the juice. You will need 1 cup of lemon juice.

Add the sugar and the cold water
Stir very well to dissolve the sugar
You now have a great lemonade.

Let's combine the two drinks and make an iced tea lemonade.

Blend 4 Cups lemonade and 4 Cups of black tea

TIP: Substitute the black tea with green tea, passion fruit herbal tea or hybiscus herbal tea for a different refreshing tea.

Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices and mint. It is easy to grow your own mint year round with a kitchen AreoGarden Pro. You will find the AreoGarden as well as good tea pots at Chefs.
